Udaiyalur is an ancient village situated about 7 kilometers south from Kumbakonam, 3 kilometers west from Valangaiman, 3 kilometers east from Patteeswaram and 1 kilometer south from Pazhayarai and in between the two rivers of Mudikondan (north side) & Kudamurutti (south side).
